Muscarello’s Cleaners

Talk about a small world!
I was just doing a little surfing around the internet and stumbled (quite literally) on this.
It was part of someone’s match collection.
(I wrote him but I doubt he’ll answer)
How many of you remember Uncle Angelo’s store?
I can still picture all the bowling trophies in the window and the gumball machine when you walked in. I was always begging my mom for a gumball every time we brought clothes over to Uncle Angelo to clean.
Or how about that phone number?
BUTLER – 2 – 2500
Which eventually was changed to
282-2500
Do you remember all the fuss everyone made when that happened?
Ahh… but all the old people ignored the “28” and still referred to it as BUTLER or BU !!!
Wow… haven’t thought of that stuff in years.
To whoever collected this matchbook:
Thanks for the Memories!

Tony,
Just wanted to say Angelo was my grandfather and my mom is Jeannette Muscarello Bobst. This is a great find. I sure miss my grandparents. Living in Portland Oregon with my wife and 4 children and my mother is in Central Oregon enjoying retirement. The time sure fly’s,
Thanks

Have this sitting around. It was from the 1985 Bocce season when Dee and I played on the team.
