This project originally started in 1997 when I poured a small slab of concrete and sunk 6 bolts into the concrete. You can see Joseph’s name, handprint and the date in some of the pictures. This was to be the home of our new barbecue. The project got sidetracked due to more pressing matters but on June 2007, ten years from pouring that small slab, construction finally resumed. Now with the help of my son, Joseph who was more into building than handprints in the cement, we have finished that project. Here it is in full agonizing detail.
